This is one of the most abstract paintings I have produced. With all the informational garbage that is thrown at us today it is difficult to see through the noise. The world is being overrun with information.  Originally this was a fall from grace when this was originally painted. The country was not divided like it is today, and you could almost trust what was on the news. I began working on this again when the COVID information became politicized. Day to day the information was changed. This turned out to be prophetic. News agencies became political government puppets spewing out half-truths and out and out lies. All trust in the media died.

Today we cannot see past all the information thrown at us. Big Tech filters information that may harm one political party and promotes information that may be bogus in an effort to damage another. The problem is we are trapped like rats in this information maze. The apple represents the fall from grace. This was an experiment. I wanted to try something totally different. Is this abstract folk art? Probably not. Is it political? Can you see my frustration with the information overload? Truth can be obscured by data.
