When I was a child, I would lay on my back and look through the leaves of the trees as they were changing colors. Looking at the bule sky beyond it looked like a stain glass window to the heavens. This is one of the few paintings I’ve done twice. The original was done in acrylics. It was damaged and my wife asked me to reproduce this painting in oil.
